Equipped with four ultrasonic radar probes, it monitors obstacles behind the vehicle in real-time and provides intuitive visual feedback through a color LCD screen, complemented by audible beeps to offer drivers comprehensive safety alerts during reversing.
II. Working Principle
The LCD reverse radar operates based on the principle of ultrasonic distance measurement. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the system is activated. The ultrasonic sensors instalLCD on the front and rear bumpers emit ultrasonic pulses. After encountering an obstacle, the ultrasonic waves are reflected and received by the sensors, which then transmit the signals to the control unit.
The control unit calculates the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle based on the time difference between the emission and reception of the ultrasonic waves. It then converts this distance information into electrical signals to drive the LCD display screen. The closer the vehicle gets to the obstacle, the smaller the number on the display screen becomes.
