BSM (Blind Spot Monitoring) is an advanced active safety technology designed to detect obstacles in the vehicle's side and rear blind spots, such as other vehicles, pedestrians, or objects. It provides visual and audible alerts to help drivers avoid collisions when changing lanes or turning.

The system uses millimeter-wave radar sensors to monitor the environment behind and alongside the vehicle, covering blind spots and offering timely warnings during normal driving or lane changes.

A-Pillar Warning Light Version: No need to remove the mirror; the warning light can be directly installed on the A-pillar. Easy installation and compatible with all vehicle models.

What is a Blind Spot in the Rearview Mirror ?

The blind spot refers to the areas around a vehicle that cannot be directly seen by the driver through the rearview and side mirrors. These blind spots are typically located just behind and to the sides of the vehicle, near the rear corners. When another vehicle or pedestrian is in this zone, the driver may not notice, which increases the risk of an accident.

Blind Spot Monitoring:

The BSM (Blind Spot Monitoring) function uses rear-mounted millimeter-wave radar to continuously monitor traffic in the vehicle's blind spots. When a vehicle enters the blind spot, the function alerts the driver with visual and audible warnings, reducing the risk of collisions during lane changes.

Lane Change Assist:

The LCA (Lane Change Assist) function provides support warnings when the driver initiates a lane change. By monitoring traffic behind and to the sides of the vehicle, the function alerts the driver if there are obstacles or rapidly approaching vehicles in the blind spot, assisting in a safe lane change.

Door Open Warning:

The DOW (Door Open Warning) function alerts the driver and passengers when opening the doors if there are approaching vehicles (including motor vehicles and bicycles) or pedestrians, providing audible and visual warnings to prevent traffic accidents caused by suddenly opening the door.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert:

The RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert) function monitors cross traffic when the vehicle is reversing or exiting a parking space. If a vehicle or pedestrian approaches from the side, the function issues audible and visual warnings, helping to avoid collisions during reversing maneuvers.
